LAGRICLEAN is a tear area cleaner for dogs and cats, developed to make tear-area hygiene simple, precise and careful. The coat around the eyes can accumulate tear residue, small amounts of dried discharge, dust and dirt.

The cleaner’s water-based formula helps to moisten residue attached to the coat, making it easier to remove with gauze without vigorous rubbing. The dosing Roll-On allows only the required amount to be used and helps reduce dripping, excess product and waste.

When used consistently as part of the animal’s normal hygiene routine, the cleaner helps prevent visible build-up and keeps the coat around the eyes looking cleaner, neater and better cared for.

Ingredients in this tear area cleaner

5% aloe vera

Aloe vera is one of the main ingredients in the water-based formula and is included at a concentration of 5%.

Glycerin and propanediol

They form part of the formula’s humectant base and accompany cleansing of the coat and the external skin around the eyes.

Cornflower, chamomile, witch hazel and calendula

A selection of botanical ingredients that enriches the daily hygiene routine. The chamomile used is Chamomilla recutita flower powder, not blue chamomile oil.

Directions for use

1. Shake gently before use.
2. Wash your hands and prepare a clean gauze pad.
3. Roll the applicator ball over the gauze until it is lightly moistened with product.
4. With the animal calm, gently clean the coat around the tear area, moving from the inner corner outwards.
5. For dried residue, hold the moistened gauze against the coat for a few seconds before removing it gently.
6. Always use a different gauze pad for each eye.
7. No rinsing is required.
8. After use, wipe the applicator ball with clean, dry gauze and close the container correctly.

Frequency: use as required as part of the animal’s usual hygiene routine.

Is this tear area cleaner for dogs and cats applied directly with the Roll-On?

No. The Roll-On is used as a dispensing system: roll the ball over clean gauze and then use the gauze on the coat around the tear area. The applicator must not touch the eye directly.

Does it remove tear stains?

LAGRICLEAN is a hygiene product, not a bleaching product. It helps remove tear residue, small amounts of dried discharge and surface dirt. Regular cleansing can improve the appearance of the coat, but it does not promise to remove old staining immediately or change the colour of already pigmented hair.

Can it be used on white-coated dogs?

Yes. It can be used on any breed or coat colour. It is particularly practical when residue is more visible, as is often the case with light-coloured coats.

Can it be used on cats?

Yes. It is intended for external tear-area hygiene in dogs and cats. Direct contact with the eye and mucous membranes must always be avoided.

Does it need to be rinsed off?
